Dr. Keehn was raised
in Southern California and the Washington D.C, area. He received a B.A.
from North Carolina State University. After college, he conducted two years
of research at UCLA and went on to receive his M.D. degree from Tulane University
School of Medicine. He remained in New Orleans for his internship at Charity
Hospital, and then completed his ophthalmology residency at UT-Houston Hermann
Hospital prior to starting private practice. He is board certified and has
been in practice at the Garland Ophthalmology Center since 1991. Dr. Keehn
sees patients for routine eye care, including contact lens fittings. He
also manages a wide range of eye disorders-both medical and surgical-including
diabetic eye disease, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degenaration and refractive
surgery. Dr. Keehn is experienced in many state of the art refractive procedures
which include LASIK, Intra=Strimal Corneal Rings (INTACS), PRK, RK, and
AK as refractive surgery alternatives for patients who wish to become less
dependent on glasses or contact lenses. He has incorporated highly accurate
computerized equipment (corneal topography) enabling patients to have their
eyes evaluated with extreme precision, for more finely tuned results. Dr.
Keehn and his patients are excited about the results that are achieved with
these refractive procedures. |
